Canford Heath to the clinic
From Adastral Square or the estates around Culliford Crescent, head down to the A3049 Dorset Way, east towards Bournemouth, off at Wallisdown and straight along Wallisdown Road into Talbot Woods. It is a fifteen-minute trip, and Tower Park's traffic is easy to avoid by leaving at the right junction.
Canford Heath is one of the largest housing areas in Poole, and we see a broad spread of patients from it: parents with young children, people working at Tower Park and the business parks along Dorset Way, and walkers who cover the nature reserve daily. Back pain from lifting and carrying is the most frequent reason for a first visit.
Evening appointments on Tuesday and Thursday let Canford Heath patients avoid the Dorset Way rush, and the free parking in the clinic courtyard means no searching once you arrive.
Buses from Canford Heath into Poole connect with the Wallisdown Road services, which stop a few minutes' walk from the clinic, so a car is not essential. Several of our patients from the Heath combine an appointment with the Talbot Campus shops on the way home.
I went to Elliot with a back problem(Muscle spasm and aches). Elliot was able to adjust my back, Neck and Hip, then loosening the muscles within the painful/tight areas. Elliot then looked at previous problems that I had with the knee and ankle. Elliot was superb and provided very useful information to help with preventing further pain and injuries.
