Neck Pain

If you suffer from neck pain, it is important to know that you are not alone. With two-thirds of the population having neck pain at some point in their lives, it is one of the most common symptoms we treat people for.

Our approach

How we approach it

The first time you visit the clinic we focus on finding the root cause of your issues and how we can help you get better.

During your first visit, your chiropractor will thoroughly review your health history and conduct a series of diagnostic tests, including a neurological exam, orthopaedic exam, digital posture analysis and gait analysis.

Based on the information collected, a customised treatment plan is created to best suit your needs. This comprehensive and personalised approach ensures that each patient receives care tailored to their unique health needs, promoting optimal healing and overall well-being.

  • After years of suffering with neck & back pain I discovered Dr Elliot & the results have been transformative! Through delivery of a long-term treatment plan I’m now pain free & even my tinnitus has eased. Highly recommended!

  • I would highly recommend treatment from Elliot. I’m in in town and found him to be my regular chiropractor. I regularly get neck and shoulder tension from computer work and my 1 leg is slightly shorter than the other. Through all this I need regular adjustments to maintain my body balance. Elliot is gentle and thorough and he’s managed to align my hip unevenness and I’ve noticed my yoga performance getting better with all my bones in place.

Common questions

Neck Pain: your questions answered

Do I need a GP referral to see a chiropractor for neck pain?

No. You can book directly with us without a referral. If we think another kind of care would serve you better, we will say so and point you in the right direction.

What happens at my first visit?

During your first visit your chiropractor will thoroughly review your overall health and spinal condition in relation to your primary complaint, and conduct a series of diagnostic tests including a neurological exam, orthopaedic exam, digital posture analysis and gait analysis. Your New Patient Consultation is made up of two visits. On the first we examine and test; on the second we go through what we found, share your care plan and, if you are happy with everything, begin your care.

How many sessions will I need for neck pain?

It depends on what we find. Based on the information collected at your consultation, a customised treatment plan is created to suit your needs, and the length of your care plan is agreed with you at your second visit before any care begins.

Is there parking at the clinic?

Yes. There is free parking on site at the clinic on Bryanstone Walk, Talbot Woods, just off Bryanstone Road between Talbot Woods and Winton.

Do you offer evening appointments?

Yes. We are open until 8pm on Tue and Thu, with Saturday appointments until 3pm. Call 07786 386370 or book online.
