The run up from Southbourne
Southbourne is a twenty-minute drive, and the quickest way is inland: Castle Lane East to the Cooper Dean roundabout, west along Castle Lane to Wimborne Road, then south into Winton and across into Talbot Woods. It avoids the seafront and Christchurch Road, both of which crawl in summer.
We see a particular kind of patient from Southbourne. Dog walkers and runners who cover Hengistbury Head and the beach every day, paddleboarders and swimmers from the groynes, and people who have retired to the Grove and want to keep doing all of that. Hips, knees and lower backs feature heavily, and we build care around keeping you active rather than resting you.
A longer journey makes the free parking at the clinic more welcome, not less: you arrive, park outside and walk in. Saturday appointments are the usual choice for Southbourne patients, with Tuesday and Thursday evenings as a fallback for anyone working in Bournemouth or Christchurch.
I’ve been going to Elliot for a few weeks now, and the improvement has been incredible. As a new mum, I was struggling with severe back pain that left me exhausted, miserable, and even afraid to pick up my baby for fear of my back giving out. I had previously tried physiotherapy, acupuncture, and massage therapy - none of which brought lasting relief. A friend recommended Elliot, and although I didn’t know much about chiropractic care, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. Within just a few weeks of treatment, I feel like a completely different person. I wake up without pain, I can move freely, and I finally feel like myself again - with more energy and confidence. The clinic itself has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and Elliot’s treatments are gentle and effective. I honestly can’t recommend Restore & Move Chiropractic highly enough!
