Down the A348 from Ferndown
From Penny's Walk or the Common, the A348 takes you south through Longham to Kinson, where Wimborne Road carries you down through Winton to Talbot Woods. It is a fifteen-minute run outside the peaks, and Ferndown's position means you avoid the Wessex Way altogether.
Ferndown sends us golfers from the club, staff from the industrial estate, and a lot of families from the roads around the Common. Lower back pain from manual work on the estate and shoulder and elbow problems from the fairways are the regulars, along with teenagers from the local rugby and football clubs.
The estate's shift patterns make the 8am and the Tuesday and Thursday evening appointments popular with Ferndown patients, and the free courtyard parking takes vans as happily as cars.
The Ferndown bypass roundabouts are the only place the journey bunches up, usually between half past four and six. Leave fifteen minutes later and the run down to Kinson is clear, which is one more reason the seven o'clock evening slots suit people from this side.
Truly grateful for the consistent great service provided by Elliot at restore and move. Elliot has helped me over come many different sporting injures. I was close to quitting football due to the constant pain I would suffer after playing but with Elliot’s help and support he has strengthened my muscles and readjusted my whole body and he has got me back playing football again “pain free” Very polite and friendly, affordable prices and he is really great at his job! Couldn’t recommend highly enough, five stars!
